Amplify, a tile laying puzzle game.

Game is currently under development. This is a playable early prototype.

Connect tiles to each other, connect them well to score points.  The more you collect at once the bigger bonuses you score. Connect all a tiles connectors to cause a Amplify chain reaction. Use the Joker Tiles to bend the rules and score big.

HOW TO PLAY:

Connect tiles and get them collected by the automatic collection. Score points for each collected tile, the more you collect at once the higher the score.  Once you are unable to place a new tile on the grid its game over.

Connecting Tiles

A random tile will appear at the top of the screen.

Click on the grid to place it.

Its connectors will enable and a new tile will appear at the top.

Place tiles adjacent to each other with the connectors facing each other.

A white connection will grow and both tiles will level up.  Each time an additional connector is connected, a tile will level up.

Level 3 tiles and higher will be collected.

Amplify

Once a tile has ALL its connectors connected, it will be Amplified. All tiles connected to a amplified tile, will also be amplified  which can cause a big chain reaction.  Use this to score big!

Collecting Tiles

Collecting tiles is automatic at timed intervals. The UI will display which tile type will be collected.

Some collections might be Destructive.  A red cross in the collection UI will indicate this. All tiles of that type that are not collected at that time, will lose a connector. Careful, a tile without any connectors will become fixed in place forever and will fill up the grid.

Jokers

At random you will receive a joker tile, a white tile that can be connected to all tile types. The standard joker will just allow you to connect tiles and level up more easily but there are many other joker types to encounter that will allow you to  bend the rules and manipulate the grid.

Those are the basics! There is plenty of strategies and tactics to uncover, have fun!
